Summary:                    Minor issues with keymaps and laptop keyboard.
Description: 
 I have tried Glx014 RC under qemu, I choose as a language
* Brazilian Portuguese (to teach me a little; can read it) 
and as a keymap azerty:fr latin9 (I post from a cybercafé..)
under qemu 0.9.0
My keyboard is partially recognisez, but not the figures [0-9] , nor the
pipe | among others (cutting and pasting worked,thanx heaven)... On a
laptop, I have a smaller keyboard than on a desktop...

I guess the layout on the keyboard is azerty as well, asuming 0-9 is
shifted and pipe under altgr-1.
Was it in console or X you set this layout, where it didn't work?

It is an answer to mohjive's answer :

I chose the keymap at the very beginning, before X, then during
install...
 Furthermore, I did not touch/tweak  anything.
 
(BTW, it has the same issue with stable version=> I instqlled with US
keymqp, I can blindly use... and it seems satisfying : compiles , under
qemu, R and I hope octave). With an X terminal, one can always manage, this
is a matter of habit... but it may hinder pple from
trying/appreciating/fully installing GoboLinux
