I thought it could be a broken configure script that was requiring an
explicit mandir option. However, we didn't really decide on which dir
to use.

In a similar note, I changed my $goboLibraries/man.conf so that it can
find man pages regardless of where they're installed. Maybe we could
ship the changes in the recipe? (but still we need to figure where to
put man pages now).
