[gobolinux-users] Maximum password length

My passwords are always longer than eight characters. For some  
reason, though, my Gobo machine just ignores characters after the  
eighth when I run passwd, which means that anyone can log in using  
the first eight characters of my 13 character password.

I remember having to fix that before, but I don't remember how I did  
it. Anybody know off the top of their head?
