Dear Gobo-users, I have a few midi-files (.mid), and I want play this
files with audacious.

In the Internet I find, how I should make this:

Edit the /etc/modprobe.conf file with the following lines:

# Configure virtual MIDI
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss

# Configure card 1 (second card) as a virtual MIDI card
alias sound-slot-1 snd-card-1
alias snd-card-1 snd-virmidi

And after:

root at localhost:~# modprobe snd-virmidi index=1
root at localhost:/dev# ln -s /dev/snd/midiC1D0 /dev/midi10
root at localhost:/dev# ln -s /dev/snd/midiC1D1 /dev/midi11
root at localhost:/dev# ln -s /dev/snd/midiC1D2 /dev/midi12
root at localhost:/dev# ln -s /dev/snd/midiC1D3 /dev/midi13
root at localhost:/dev# aconnect 72:0 73:0
root at localhost:/dev# aconnect 72:0 74:0
root at localhost:/dev# aconnect 72:0 75:0

I make this under UHU-Linux, and the midi work me.

I make this under Gobo 013, but make me the forrolwing error message:

root at Csiszilla ~]aconnect 72:0 73:0
Connection failed (Invalid argument)
root at Csiszilla ~]

(a aconnect 72:0 74:0 and aconnect 72:0 75:0 so on).

I have audio-controller:
00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp. 82801EB/ER
(ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)

I am in these audio-theme absolute total beginner. What should I make now?
