to convert all patches from '-p0' to '-p1' one could use sed:

sed -i -e 's/\(--- \/\)/\1foo\//g' -e 's/\(+++ \/\)/\1foo\//g' *.patch

that will add "/foo" to the beggining to every filepath of the files to  
patch.
