Dear Gobo-users, this is a question from a beginner:
How can I make full UTF-8 coding in the system?
This is need for the hungarian language (characters), that I use.
Now my language-variables is the following:
LANGUAGE = "hu_HU.UTF-8",
LC_ALL = "hu_HU.UTF-8",
LANG = "hu_HU.UTF-8"
but my programs (Xaos, GFtp, JDictionary, Mplayer, etc.) not use the
hungarian language, but they are capable the hungarian messages given.
Only the OpenOffice 2.0.3 is now me in hungarian...
And, what console fonts need I for use the hungarian characters in
UTF-8 (the hungarian characters is in the latin-2 table, ISO-8859-2,
and the 852 codepage, but I want they in UTF-8)?
Now the Perl always wrote:
Generating dependency report. Please wait: *perl: warning: Setting
locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LANGUAGE = "hu_HU.UTF-8",
LC_ALL = "hu_HU.UTF-8",
LANG = "hu_HU.UTF-8"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
and I not know, what I need to do...
Thanks!
