TeX is included because, like OpenOffice, it is an important package
which is too big for a separate download for not-so-broad-band users.

We will include it in the next release, but it was brought up to our
attention too late in the 013 release cycle. Sorry about that; in the
meantime, one can "InstallPackage mdadm" once the network is up (which
should happen automatically in DHCP setups).
