[gobolinux-users] xfce compile issues

I've had several issues getting xfce to work. I'll first mention the setup
this is running on. I wanted to tweak things first and make my own install
cd, so this is running on Virtual PC on XP. This is the prerelease edition
because both 13rc1 and 13rc2 just boot up to a black screen. I did update
all of the scripts and tools though.
I first tried to run Compile, and I first always get a warning that the
recipe was made with a cvs version of compile, but I have the latest
official package. Regardless, it never detects the dependencies that I
already have installed, and it always ends with "Program does not have a
Resources/Dependencies file", "Not signing it yet.". All it installs is a
resources directory. Any help?
I tried to install the user contributed package, but it only installs docs
and resources as well, so I'm a little lost. I did install the older
version of xfce that is official but when I booted the program up some of
the components were missing like the taskbar and sessions. Anyway, I would
appreciate the help.
Also, random questions:
Can you set compile to delete it's source files in /Files/Compile once it is
finished?
Why doesn't Manager show outdated Scripts/Compile/etc?
Is there any future plan for a gui frontend for network configuration(even
just a port of the one on the livecd would be nice if it could change it
dynamically)? I know it's not difficult to stop/start task, but it would be
nice and more user friendly.
Well, thanks guys. Again, I love the work you've all done.
Tim
