[gobolinux-users] How to extract Gobolinux files to a 256MB pen/thumb drive?

Thanks, but right now I'm running WinXP because I've partitioned the hard
drive one time too many (I've installed many other distros within the past
two years, then reinstalled Windows again). So compiling from a Gobo system
won't be feasible until I can get a replacement drive (maybe an external
one).

This gives me an idea, though.

Ever heard of SLAX <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SLAX>? It was made by one
guy who used a combination of Slackware and Linux
Live<http://www.linux-live.org/>scripts. Someone else created the
MySLAX
Creator <http://myslax.bonsonno.org/>, which allows you to create a custom
SLAX LiveCD .iso in Windows using those same components (Slackware and Linux
Live scripts).

I dunno if you all would want it, but this (MyGobo?) might help matters for
anyone who may want to migrate from Windows to Gobo (hard drive, LiveCD or
LiveUSB) without having to be running a Linux system beforehand.
