You should try to Compile audacity 1.2.6 (stable) or 1.3.2 (beta) instead.  
There's no such versions in the store yet, but if you do 'Compile audacity  
1.2.6' or 'Compile audacity 1.3.2' the recipe should be updated  
automatically. If the build succeeds, feel free to submit the new recipe :)
