Hi,

Just thought that I would pass on for info that Gobolinux installs and
runs OK as a virtual machine in VirtualBox!

VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) is free for personal use and is
available for both windows and linux! I am running it under XP and it
seems to be able to run at native speed!

The live CD can be mounted as an iso image so you dont need to burn a cd
to install and is then also very fast!

My Emulation has a 5GB virtual hardrive partioned using cfdisk from the
live cd into 4.5GB linux and .5GB swap partions and is allocated 128MB
of memory.

When booting the live cd X11 detection hangs so it is necessary to hit
Esc at that point to be able to continue! Use cfdisk before starting the
graphical interface with startx as the QParted application does not seem
to be able to work! In fact for the current install I did not start the
graphical interface at all, just ran cfdisk, followed by Installer.

Hope this information is of use!

Tom Connell
