Unfortunately, Gobolinux is still a relatively new system with a very
dedicated but still quite small set of developers, and problems like
these are still cropping up quite often. I'm worried that if you're
hoping for a system that requires little or no command line fiddling,
you may be disappointed by the current vesion of Gobolinux. The
developers are wonderful at helping out when something goes wrong, but
the system is just not quite at the sit-back-and-relax stage yet. Not
in every aspect, anyway. If you really want to get away from the
command line, may I recommend a more mainstream distribution like
Ubuntu? You can always install the rootless Gobolinux on Ubuntu, so you
could have your cake and eat it ;)
