[gobolinux-users] Updating Xorg

Hi,

I had installed Xorg 7.2 to my system, but it had not been symlinked for 
some reason!

Following this I was advised just to symlink it, but I got a large 
swathe of conflict messages and the thought has just occured to me 
should I have done this from a Konsole window in KDE or should I have 
shutdown x and done it from a base console?

Have I introduced another set of problems by doing this?

I did terminate my x session and start a new one once the symlink was 
done, but I have not yet rebooted the system! Is this also a requirement 
for Xorg?
