This could well be a valid point, but was it necessary to put it so
bluntly? Remember that the poor soul who designed it probably had to
read that! :(
Personally, I don't mind it. I like that it's a little quirky.

I agree! However, the beauty of Gobolinux is that it is a lightweight
set of scripts on an easy-to-manage filesystem hierarchy. Recipes are
simple and consistent, and the packages are simply builds of the
recipes. The beauty of the system is that everything is vanilla --- as
little patching and branding as possible. Don't think of Gobolinux as a
distro like the others; it's really just a very advanced
Linux-From-Scratch. So since we don't like the default KDE look, why
don't we pop over to the KDE mailing lists and see if they might be
persuaded... :)
