    Changing the look of KDE wouldn't take any patching. It's just a matter of 
placing a modified kickerrc in the skel directory. Besides, everything is 
*not* vanilla--there's a custom, branded wallpaper (which prompted this 
thread), custom icons, etc. So why not add a custom kickerrc file?

    As far as I understand, they are persuaded; however, we'll just have to 
wait for 4.0 before we see any changes.
