This advice may come a little late, but there's two ways to avoid
having an unbootable machine from choosing an inoperative or
nonexistent BootTheme:
- Use TestBootTheme from a console instead of testing themes via a real reboot.
- Add "BootTheme=Slack" (or whatever) to the Grub boot line to
override the BootOptions setting.
