Ok, I have not Nvidia hardware, so I have never seen this logo.

For solving your problem, I have a new approach. As superuser, exexute the
following:

  cp /Programs/Xorg/Settings/X11/xorg.conf
/Programs/Xorg/Settings/X11/xorg.conf.orig;
  nvidia-xconfig -composite; nvidia-xconfig -allow-glx-with-composite
  nvidia-xconfig -render-accel; nvidia-xconfig -add-argb-glx-visuals

The program nvidia-xconfig should be installed with the Nvidia driver.
Then restart X and cross your fingers :)

If X fails to start up move back your copy of the original xorg.conf:

mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf.orig /etc/X11/xorg.conf
startx
