What version of Udev do you have installed?

What does 'grep -i firmware /System/Settings/udev/rules.d/*' give? If that
doesn't return anything you might want to try 'grep -i firmware
/Programs/Udev/Current/Resources/Defaults/Settings/udev/rules.d/*'.
