[gobolinux-users] Version numbers

Sometimes I want to compile a /Programs/Foo/1.2.3 when that already 
exists. Maybe it's a new revision or I just didn't do it right the first 
time.  But I don't want to have to remove/replace the old directory to 
install this one (too risky, unlike gobo with distinct versions); I'd 
rather have the new version have a different directory name (something 
appended?), without it meaning any different version.

Any ideas?
