I suspect DisableProgram will move the current 1.2.3 out of the way
and allow Compile to install your new 1.2.3 without complaints.  I
think DisableProgram's is wrong and SymlinkProgram doesn't look for
disabled versions, but maybe I've misunderstood it.  Please test it
on something unimportant and let us know how you got on.
