I'm typing this on my EeePC right now.  I just got it last week and I
preordered in mid September.  Only real complaint is the wifi takes
forever to reassociate with my AP after resuming.  The small keyboard
is a problem but the portability is great.  The low res screen isn't
as bad as I though.  It is wide enough for most web pages but expect
to always be full screen.  A few dialogs/pref panes are too big.

Still no Gobo on it but I'm starting to reach the limits of the
installed OS so it won't be long.  I'd love to do a custom Gobo CD
targeted for my needs.  Maybe in the new year.  I've been trying to
direct interest on eeeuser.com for others to take up the challenge.
Unfortunately, most are interested in talking rather than doing or
have their distro of choice.

The flash ssd is nice and fast.  I think a squashfs root partition
with unionfs for r/w would be perfect.

Generally a great system but won't replace my macbook.  It has a hard
time competing with my iphone for mobile browsing.  It is better than
the iphone for email.  I'm not sure if I'll keep it yet.
