I'd really like to see a forum (simplemachines looks great :)). A
mailinglist can't be as comfortable as a forum and so many users
won't use it just because of laziness. I personally dont't like mailing
lists because they aren't structured like a forum and a bit old fashioned.
The first thing I do (and for sure not only me) is to search a forum about
the topic I want to get informations about. It would be the perfect place
to go if you want to see what's going on with gobo.
About the hungarian forum... it's a nice thing but I think there should be
a "standalone" english forum and not just an extension for the hungarian
one, because english is the main language in *nix world. And it should be
integrated into gobolinux.org so that you can find it easily.
I don't think creating a forum would split the community... rather it would
encourage more people to stay longer and to ask questions because it's
easy. So it would be easier to get feedback from users that don't like
mailinglists (ie me :P).
And finally... everyone else has a forum ;(
