[gobolinux-users] No network connection after fresh install

Hi there,

Installed Gobo 013 on it's own partition. Got two issues. First one is
that network connection does not come up properly. Using dhcp on my LAN.
When checking the dhcp config file, it shows that an IP has been assigned
along with the correct gateway address. All looks well there. Pinging
other machines on the network, e.g. the gateway does not work though.

Read in a separate thread that the DHCHPCD has been updated and to run
'Compile dhcpcd'. How can I go about that without a Network connection? Do
I need to download sources/packages to a certain directory and issue some
magic commands from there?

(I do have a network connection using a different distro, e.g. Puppy Linux
or Dynebolic. So downloading sources/packages is possible)
