It can't remember why we took it off. I remember some talk on cron
alternatives, but I don't know why we didn't end shipping one. Users
should invoke Compile/InstallPackage to install their own for now (I
haven't checked the store to see if there is a recipe for that).

It looks like we had synchronization problems. At least Jonas is
already aware of this problem with his mirror at midgard.liu.se, as he
just told me on IRC. Is there problems with other mirrors, too?
Calica.com should be fine.

We do that, and then mirrors take these changes through rsync. Again,
due to some problem that was not happening. I'm not able to check out
all mirrors right now, but I'd appreciate if someone else could take
the time to check which mirrors are broken, etc.

This script has been replaced by PackRecipe instead, which is
automatically called every time a new recipe is compiled. The
documentation is probably out of date because there isn't too much
people contributing to the wiki. We're really very bad on the number
of active people doing some real work. Sad but true.

Probably because it was forgot. I've just added your recipes to the
store, thanks. I'll also ensure that these dictionaries are available
on the next release.

We try to do the best we can to publish articles and the like about
GoboLinux. But again, doing development, debugging, reviewing recipes,
taking care of the web page, answering questions in the mailing list
and still having to keep track of the daily job in the
office/university ends up taking all the time we have in a day. I'd
like to see more contributions in this sense instead of having people
asking for more tasks and just waiting for things to happen.

I don't know. Sometimes I think people are just lazy, or aren't really
very commited on helping, or just don't have enough time/interest to
dedicate to this project.

The configuration of the installer is usually done with the
developer's resources, being validated and fixed during the release
candidates. I can't remember of having any bug report on this subject,
though. Could you please fill a bug at bugs.gobolinux.org so that we
can test that before shipping the first 014 alphas?

Probably not. You can try to run kwrite with strace, just like this:
$ strace -f kwrite 2>&1 | grep aspell
Then just check where it's looking for that program.

Commited to the store, thanks.
