Bear with me for a little while. I got xfce4 running on my machine now.
Well most of it. I will upload the recipes later. As for the packages: I
plan on doing a re-install. My current Gobo 013 installation was based on
KDE. I like to do a new Base installation without the KDE stuff and then
add Xfce.

Adding Xfce to .xinitrc was rather painless in the end, btw.

Also, in case you want faster results by doing it yourself, the Xfce
website, http://www.xfce.org, has good documentation on the requirements,
including a package dependencies table. Following the suggested build
order on that page will save you a lot of time. Needless to say, I
found/looked for that page after I had done it already :-).

I will rebuild rebuild xfce (including recipes and packages) following the
order suggested on their website. That could be a few days off though,
since I'm at the moment, like apparently many others, a bit time pressed.
