Hi Teique,

  The project you mentioned is called Seti at Home.  Although it is very
popular, I'm not personally keen.  I have attached my two main computers
to a similar project that instead processes scientific data to aid
humanitarian research, such as analysing cancer samples or looking for
biomarkers that could help cure malaria or AIDS for instance.  The
project is called the World Community Grid ---
