well "cups start" is supposed to invoke the daemon
(cupsd), but like I wrote, it gives me an error before
it starts running. There's definitely a problem with
integration, but that's not even the issue with just
getting cupsd running. Any idea what sort of
permissions problems could be happpening?

All I could find is that cupsd's "exit with status 1"
means you should start the daemon as root, but I'm
doing that and it's still giving me the error...

Has anyone had luck with a new 013 install?
