Make sure you also have a valid "default" statement, or it wouldn't
know which entry to load. The entries count at zero from the top, so
"default 1" would cause it to load the second entry in the list.

This entry appears in the default GoboLinux menu.lst so I suspect it's
not the problem, but it's all I can think of. Maybe you should post
the whole menu.lst? The timeout works for me.
