Yeah, never sure if it's having any deleterious
effects though.

There's nothing like try { } catch { } in Ruby so you
can catch irrelevant errors and ignore them instead of
having them flow all the way through to std error?

didn't realize I did. it's actually in there twice! I
didn't set it though, I guess it's standard for a Gobo
013 install?
I'd rather just remove . from PATH than mess with
directory permissions. Any idea where it's set?
