A lot of proprietary games like Quake3 or UT2004 only have support for OSS.

Even though Quake3's revamped counterpart, ioQuake3 now has ALSA
support, the proprietary version is still widely played, and is required
for use on PunkBuster-enabled servers.

Would removing the modules cause a problem with this?
