Yeah, I haven't used git. I wasn't saying bzr is easier than git, I was
just saying bzr was easy.

Yes, it offers a 'smart server' <http://bazaar-vcs.org/SmartServer>, but
you can publish to web simply by using 'bzr push
sftp://server/www/wherever', no Apache extensions required. Then, the
maintainer can simply 'bzr merge http://server/wherever/' your changes.

No, some of it is still proprietary. However, Canonical did open up
Storm, a component of it recently, with plans for more to come soon.
