Was r2, my Manager doesn't list r4 (package or recipe)
even after telling it to "Update Remote Lists".
InstallPackage got it though. I have glibc 2.5 so the
package should work ok.
BTW, the -S option seems to get ignored by
InstallPackage. "InstallPackage -S udev 110" ends
with:
InstallPackage: Installing Udev, version 110.
InstallPackage: Uncompressing to /Programs...
InstallPackage: Invalid signature. Package has been
modified
InstallPackage: Suspect package in /Programs/Udev/110
InstallPackage: Removing downloaded package
/System/Variable/tmp/Udev--110-r4--i686.tar.bz2.
Executed SymlinkProgram to get the new r4 package
linked in properly.
I get the same mess of errors with 110 r4 as I did
with r2. Should I remove Jonas' fix now?
udev does seem to be running now, which is an
improvement
]ps ax |grep udev

ok. My KDE time and BIOS time are very diferent from
each other though. BIOS displays correct time. Running
OpenNTP.

Heh, of course I tried before writing that, but udev
looks like it requires some special patchwork. I think
there's only one person familiar enough with it to do
the job right ;)

Mike
powered by Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or
directory)
:(
