Manager is now always reporting newer revisions when available. You can run
FindPackage udev
to make sure of the latest revision of udev.

In both cases, there is no problem. You can run
SymlinkProgram -c overwrite Scripts
If you want (not required though). About 'python2.3' path, also not
problem. Python 2.5 will be looking files at /python2.3/site-packages/
too.
