The only way that can happen is if you have a program installed where
every package available exceeds the maximum possible version; you
might want to look into that on its own. It probably isn't a problem.
However, I've checked in a fix to CVS, so you can check out
lib/freshen-functions.rb and give it a try. Hopefully it will work.
