The problem isn't complicated interdependencies, but that some gnome
apps needs thd same prefix and doesn't play well with the gobolinux
layout.
Then there's problems like gconf, into which directory almost all
gnome apps want to put their config xml files. To this particular
problem I have an idea for a solution, just that I haven't had the
time, but there are more, similar problems (layout assumptions made by
the gnome devs) with other gnome apps.
