You don't need Glibc for Mac OS X. OS X has its own libc. Prereqs
for Rootless on OS X would be; 1) Xcode (get from apple) for gcc and
other dev tools. 2) A set gnu tools, this is mostly CoreUtils,
FindUtils and maybe a few others. Fastest way to get those is fink
(fink.sf.net) or DarwinPorts (http://darwinports.opendarwin.org/)
Both Fink and DarwinPorts have patches for major apps to support OS X's libc.
Sorry I can't be more help. I haven't run Rootless on OS X in years.
I eventually just installed Linux.
