Should Rootless "just work" on:
* Mac OS X?
* FreeBSD? DragonFlyBSD?
* Solaris?
* Cygwin?
* Etc?
Should Rootless be described as Experimental on some of those
platforms? What level of "just work"-ness do we want to
publicize/promise to potential users?

Sure. Or in the Wiki. I'll talk more about that in a
separate thread.

My point in asking the above question is that most successful
distros publish a concise statement of self-identity. In my opinion,
the Gobo web-site does not do this at present.

Of course we cannot force anyone to use Gobo. We can only
invite them. So we want to make the web-site an attractive invitation
that will appeal to the kind of users we are looking for.
