You don't need to reinstall - see my post a week or so ago on -devel
at http://www.wotfun.com/pipermail/gobolinux-devel/2007-March/002236.html
- the gist of it is, you have to re-symlink your old glibc in, and
then upgrade your kernel. You can InstallPackage glibc after that and
it will all work.

I think that's a Scripts bug. InstallPackage Scripts to upgrade and
SymlinkProgram it, it should work from there.
