Sorry about that. We ended up being sidetracked by discussion on
contest rules, etc. We were also discussing some technical issues
about translation of news items around the same time, so things got
mixed up. Again, sorry about the mess -- just posted it on the main
site.

I think it looks very contemporary; I feel that's what you were going
for, so in this case I think it's spot-on. The bad side effect, to my
eyes, is that it ended up being a bit too generic.

What I liked: the vector tracing of the mascot is good (much better
than the one used in the 013 release). It's a definite improvement.
The alternatives for layout of mascot+name are also very nice.

What I didn't like: the "all-lowercase" name is a bit of a cliché
nowadays; especially with the blue colorscheme it reminded me of the
Fedora logo. The font+lettering+color also reminded me of the Intel
logo.

So, in short I liked the mascot but didn't like the lettering. Don't
take it as "ah, it's because the mascot is the same and the lettering
is new". Actually, I've been thinking for a while now that we could
use a new logo other than the mascot.
