[gobolinux-users] Gobolinux Forum?

Definitely with you on this one molfar --- a forum would be a great
advantage. Out of the two suggestions, my vote goes to Vanilla,
although unless storage space and bandwidth are a serious consideration,
I would suggest going with something mainstream like phpBB. I don't
quite know how to explain this, but it feel as though as a distribution,
Gobolinux needs a forum to deal with all types of user problems. Some
people who are using Gobolinux with have general linux questions, and
will want to ask other Gobo users because of the system similarities,
others will want to talk about the latest Scripts in SVN, so we could
really do with the categories I think. Also, I've often felt in the
past that a distribution isn't "real" if it doesn't have a decent forum
with people discussing and fixing problems. It provides an opportunity
to read a bit about the kind of problems people face with the system,
and get a feel for it without actually having to download it and try it
yourself.
