[gobolinux-users] Gobolinux Forum?

I am afraid that I hold exactly the opposite opinion! I don't do forums! They take up too much of my time! If I can't get it Emailed then I am not interested! I would support those that prefer to use a forum, but the solution chosen should do both! Email posts to those that want EMails and maintain a forum structure for those who prefer to read online! Yahoo groups and parallax are two organisations who provide me with content this way!

I am a member of the PCLinuxOS forum as I use that distribution, but although they claim to email users in fact they email one topic only and then ignore you until you visit the forum! That is totally useless as far as I am concerned and I may well reconsider removing the distribution! I am not using gobo at present because I had problems with 013 and am awaiting 014! I am keeping in touch with what is going on through the mailing list! If it was a forum I would never know what was happening and would soon forget all about it!

Just my 2d (or p, but I am old enough for d)

  I wouldn't have joined the mailing list if there was a forum.  I'd
been hoping for /ages/ to find a distribution with a new hierarchy, and
it's only because of how perfectly Gobolinux fit the bill that I
eventually joined up.  Actually, I decided I'd rather use Ubuntu than
join the list, but had a nightmare trying to configure samba and decided
to switch back to Gobo and join the mailing list.  You almost lost me
there ;)
