Dear Carlo, the acpi=off is my default settings! See the part of my menu.lst
:

default 0
gfxmenu (hd0,0)/boot/themes/uhu

title GoboLinux - Console (hda4)
kernel (hd0,3)/System/Kernel/Boot/kernel acpi=off root=/dev/hda4 vga=0
