I do like vanilla.  It feels like a dot news site.  I also REALLY like
how the RSS feeds are handled.  Each topic published rather than each
post.  Really improves the S/N ratio.

Simply forwarding to the user list and ensuring follow up will make
the forum feasible.  Otherwise it'll stagnate.  It won't take long
until you'll get a feel for what info we'll need to diagnose and the
whole process will be much smoother.  Along the way you'll learn a lot
too.

Won't be problem.  Whomever is hosting will setup a vhost rather than
a subdir.  Simple to do.
