Hello, I am esperantist, and think, I create an user-defined
kayboard-layout! I create a .Xmodmap file, with the following lines:
keycode 66 = Mode_switch
keycode 54 = C NoSymbol ccircumflex
keycode 42 = G NoSymbol gcircumflex
keycode 43 = H NoSymbol hcircumflex
keycode 44 = J NoSymbol jcircumflex
keycode 39 = S NoSymbol scircumflex
keycode 30 = U NoSymbol ubreve
As you can see, I want use the CapsLock key to modify the other keys.
This layout WORK, but not in all case! The big (Shift-pressed, capital)
scircumflex - it write me nothing! I can write with this layout ŝĉĝĵĥŭ and
ĈĜĴĤŬ - but the circumflex S - NOT! (maybe the 39 keycode is wrong? But the
not capital ŝ work!)
And, If I use this layout, I cannot press the
"]"
symbol (it is available in the hungarian keyboard with the AltGr-G
pressing).
What should make I now?
And a question: what line should I write into my .Xmodmap file, having the
german umlaut (little and capital), for ekzample to the hungarian "Á"
character (key)?
Thanks!
Zoli
