The KDE language packs included are for the languages for which we
have translations in the live CD environment (the initial live CD
screens and the Installer), currently Brazilian Portuguese, German and
Hungarian.

Contributions are always welcome. However, the KDE translation files
are taking considerable space in the Live CD (the German pack is
~21MB)... we did set a precedent when we included KDE-I18N-pt_BR in
010 (which was released in a Brazilian magazine), but to keep on
adding them would fill up the Live CD.

One thought I have in mind is to master instead different versions of
the Live CD for those supported languages. We could then add some
extra goodies like the localized versions of OpenOffice, Firefox and
spellchecker dictionaries. But this is extra work and we're already
short on resources. Whether we could pull it off for 014 or not
probably depends on the availability of volunteers to pack and test
these language-specific packages. But it's something to think about,
so I thought I'd share the idea.
