I support this idea. Having a minimal net-cd (a kind of "core-edition"
like Debian, Arch and others have) is IMHO the right way to go. It
would be beneficial for release-management framework as well, since it
is a lot easier to debug and polish a small number of packages and
sysutils than the full-blown CD, not to mention DVD.
