Thank you mpb,
I read regularly the list and I know you use rootless on ubuntu.
I hope you will help me with issues I will encounter during the journey... 

In the past I reported several bugs about bash/dash and they have been 
fixed, however, always in the past, I can't run rootless on ubuntu without 
changing by hand dash with bash. I don't like this solution. 

I thnk rootless could be a really intersting solution to install packages 
(well, compile from source) in every distribution. I'm really intersted in 
understanding its flexibility and portability.
