[gobolinux-users] errors after udev 115 upgrade
Hi There

I tried out the udev recipe for version 115, used new
file when there were conflicts. Here are the errors I
got during install:
1220 lookup_group: specified group 'console' unknown
udev_rules_init: could not read
'/System/Settings/Udev/rules.d/60-modprobe.rules': No
such file or directory
add_to_rules: unknown key 'RUN{ignore-error}' in
System/Settings/Udev/rules.d/80-drivers.rules:5
add_to_rules: unknown key 'TEST' in
System/Settings/Udev/rules.d/80-drivers.rules:6
add_to_rules: unknown key 'cdrom' in
System/Settings/Udev/rules.d/80-drivers.rules:10
first error listed scrolled anything before it off the
screen. There are #'s in front of those other errors,
I can't remember if they're the same (1220) or
different now as I didn't write them down.
At boot-up, the 'Mounting filesystems' line fails
(gets the red highlighting to the right of it and says
FAILED)
I also a get a bunch of lines that say stuff like
run_program failed hotplugd, etc. They scroll by too
fast to write down completely.
I had ALSA back for a short but sweet interlude
between my KDE 3.5.8 upgrade and this udev upgrade.
Xine is no longer finding it.
Not really sure how all those errors are affecting the
computer besides that, it is still running :)
Hope that helps refine the recipe a little, and please
chime in if any of you know how to fix those errors.
;)
