[gobolinux-users] Gobo Live on a USB stick

I run gobolinux off a USB HDD without any problems altogether...works 
like a charm...however it is not the live cd..it is an install of 
gobolinux onto the USB HDD which should work just as well with a USB 
Memory Stick. Also, you should be able to compile the generic kernel for 
the live CD ...

In essence the steps are:
- Install onto USB stick from Live CD
- While in the Live CD, Download kernel sources and modify config to 
include USB, SCSI into the kernel itself (it can be done via modules but 
you will have to load modules via an initrd/initramfs which is more work 
for not really more benefit since you will always need this if you 
running from the stick)
- Modify grub on the stick to use the right USB drive at the time of 
bootup (depends on your system config)
- Boot from the USB stick!

Reqs:
- Your system has to support booting from USB stick/HDD

I boot ubuntu,gentoo and gobo from USB drives ....

If there is enough interest and you're still looking for this let me 
know and I will document the detailed steps on the wiki
