[gobolinux-users] Firefox won't update

It's a permissions issue. You are running as a normal user,
and /Programs/Firefox is not writable, so it can't be updated. As Thomas
mentioned, the "right" way to upgrade is to use the GoboLinux tools rather
than the built-in Firefox updater, but if you want to use it, just give
yourself write permissions to the Firefox folder. (I'd suggest you do this by
chown-ing it to your usename, so other logins still can't write to it.)
If you do this, I'd also recommend changing the folder to something
like /Programs/Firefox/2.X/ so you know it's nonstandard and not being
managed by the Gobolinux tools. I managed it this way a while ago when
Firefox didn't yet have a nice recipe.
